Milica Živadinović's doctoral thesis, dedicated to the life and work of Miodrag Mića Popović, chronologically follows his creativity from his earliest youth to the end of his rich career. Painting was his main means of expression, but during his fifty years of work, he was successfully engaged in film and theater directing, scenography and costumes.
He was also a successful writer, autobiographer, art theorist and novelist. The monograph reveals how Popović's exhibition in the Cultural Center of Belgrade was banned in 1974 and why the "Politikina" award was presented to him eighteen years late.
